Why Tiendesitas Pet Village Is A Pet Paradise

Pets make the best companions! And with an ensemble of must-try doggie activities, there’s really no reason not to have that weekend at Tiendesitas Pet Village with your pooch.

About Tiendesitas Pet Village

Tiendesitas is best known as a cluster of little stores that showcase the best antiques, handicrafts, fashion items, native food, plants, pets, and pet needs that the country has to offer. Shops and stalls are sectioned into “villages” for easier shopping.

As its name suggests, the Pet Village houses pet clinics and shops that specialize in pet care essentials, toys, treats, and a lot more. One of the most pet-friendly places in the Metro, taking your fur-baby to Tiendesitas Pet Village should be fun and easy like a walk in the park — make that a thrilling walk in the park. Here are a few points why:

Shop for Supplies with your Dog’s Advise

At Tiendesitas Pet Village, food, toys, treats and supplies for your doggo are everywhere! That’s why the place is a go-to for everything — from the basics, to the hard-to-find items for your pets. Now, having your dog with you would be like having your bestie on a shopping spree. Planning to try a new toy? See what your buddy thinks! Wave the item in front of him, let his have a couple of sniffs and if a tail wag follows, then it’s a ‘yes’!

Doggie’s Spa & Salon Time

It’s not a doggie’s day out without some soothing pampering for your doggo. Grooming services in the village start from P400 to P900. Keep your dog good-looking with a fur trim, a pedicure or maybe a new do. While waiting, you can stroll through the other sections of Tiendesitas and shop or just relax and have a little pampering of your own in one of their many wooden swinging seats and hammocks.

Socialize with Other Breeds and Animals

Taking your dog for a walk and having them socialize with other dogs makes them less scared around people and the world. And that’s just how every visit to the pet village can help. You can expect other fur-parents to have their pets with them, and this would present awesome opportunities for training your dog to be comfortable with others.

Plus, the pet village is also home to interesting animals such as parrots, parakeets, and hedgehogs that you and your buddy might enjoy seeing.

Enjoy Special Events Together

Dogs love good music too! A little walk from the pet village is the food village where you can watch and sing-along to your fave tunes in the Tiende Sessions. These are acoustic sets by some of OPM’s up and coming singers and bands.

And did you know that you can have your fur-baby blessed, free of charge? It’s an annual event at Tiendesitas, held usually during World Animal Day in October.

Now, your fur-baby might be gentle and kind, but keep in mind that some people can be anxious around animals. So if you’re taking your dog to a public space, it’s always best to put him on a leash. And don’t forget to check if he has his tag on!

On your next day off, make it a date to remember with your fur-baby at Tiendesitas Pet Village.
