With the administration’s “enhanced community quarantine” in full swing, you may be needing to restock your supply of food, medicine, toiletries, and other basic necessities. Thankfully, essential services remain open throughout Metro Manila, as per a memorandum from the Department of Trade and Industry released last March 16. These services include groceries, banks, pharmacies, banks, convenience stores, and restaurants (for delivery or take out only).

Ortigas Malls continues to keep the doors of its shopping facilities open—Estancia, Greenhills, Tiendesitas, and Industria— should you be in need of essential goods and services during this time.
Rest assured that we are taking extra steps to ensure that Ortigas Malls are safe sanctuaries, especially if you are seeking some semblance of normalcy in the face of this health emergency. Safety protocols are being implemented in all Ortigas Malls, including temperature checks, social distancing, and daily disinfection to protect not just the shoppers, but especially the frontliners who continue to work tirelessly amid the health crisis.
Banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, and restaurants offering delivery and takeout services within Ortigas Malls’ retail complexes continue to serve customers, even as other shops are closed.
Note as well that it’s important to abide by the directive that states that only one person per household will be allowed to leave to purchase necessities during the lockdown. It’s also best to make sure that your household’s designated shopper practices all the necessary safety and hygiene precautions before heading out.
